These are group classes where basic kickboxing techniques (Jab, Cross, Front Kicks, Roundhouse Kicks, etc.) are used in conjunction with body weight exercises, cardio work against the bags and additional exercises aimed at getting the average person into shape. There are 5 rankings to determine the level of fitness & quality of technique of each student. These ranking are required if a student wishes to progress to a higher level. A student has to pass the ranking test to proceed to the next ranking, but can also be awarded a higher ranking only by the head instructors if they deem the student sufficient. Class duration is 60-120min.

These specialty classes can be added onto the monthly membership and different packages can be chosen. This class will be run by SD & JC and is aimed at students who can skip moderately and wish to both increase their skipping time and also their skill set, whilst putting in a great workout.
This class is for people with a relatively high level of fitness looking for that extra push. Classes will be more focused around circuit and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) exercises which includes bag work, skipping, bodyweight training, weights, calisthenics and more.
These sessions will be a part of specialty classes but will be priced on a per session bases since a membership to self-defense is not a long term solution and should
rather be sold as a course.
Personal training classes will be determined by the expertise of each trainer and clients should be directed accordingly. For example, clients looking for skipping lessons, self-defense, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and so on, should be directed to the trainer be suited to teach those lessons. Personal training should be taken just as seriously by trainers as group classes in terms of professionalism and focusing on what the client wants (Within limits, e.g. I can't teach dancing)
Kids’ classes will be very similar to the kick-fit classes in their structure although having a lot more activities and games woven into each class. These games and activities are focused on increasing hand eye coordination, balance, foot speed and more. Older Kids can decide whether they want to be a part of the junior class or the adult class.
With combat sports on the rise in popular media, events have great potential. The main events that will be held at Hybrid are Fight-Nights. Fight nights are great for selling advertising space on the ring, inside Hybrid, and throughout the event. The number of fights would be between 8 and 15 depending on the purpose of the night, either being pro fights, junior fights or exhibition fights. Other events that can be held are braai days, fitness challenges, and much more.
